He revealed on his official Instagram page that he has been diagnosed with a Demyelinating Disease and has been undergoing treatment for the past two and a half years.
In his statement, he shared details of his bank account to facilitate contributions.

According to Oheneba, Chairman Wontumi’s close associate, John Kumah was allegedly poisoned through grilled Guinea Fowl. Oheneba recounted that during a campaign rally in Tamale, both Chairman Wontumi and John Kumah were served grilled guinea fowls to eat.

Unlike Chairman Wontumi, who continued with regular health check-ups, Kumah’s decision not to seek further treatment may have contributed to his demise, as the poison had reportedly been in his system since November.
It’s suspected that certain influential figures within the NPP orchestrated the poisoning incident. Captain Smart had also reportedly voiced similar suspicions prior to Kumah’s passing.
