Yaw Dabo, the popular Ghanaian Kumawood actor and football executive, has expressed his disappointment over the lack of support from renowned media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, regarding his football academy, Dabo Soccer Academy.
In an exclusive interview with Zionfelix, Yaw Dabo disclosed that he had approached Delay for sponsorship for his football academy but was surprised when she declined, citing her inability to provide support as she was already sponsoring two other shows, including Nana Ama McBrown’s cooking show “McBrown’s Kitchen”.
Yaw Dabo revealed that he had requested 10 boxes of Delay-branded spaghetti monthly for his players, as it was the food they were accustomed to, in order to maintain their weight. However, despite his efforts, Delay declined to offer assistance.
Expressing his disappointment, Yaw Dabo emphasized the pain of sacrificing for others only to be let down when expecting the same in return. Nonetheless, he maintained that he holds no ill feelings towards Delay, stating, “Delay and I are cool. She is my mother.”
