Tragic news has surfaced reporting the death of Christoper Adu Boahen, the son of late Professor Adu Boahen, one of the founding members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). According to reports, Christopher was attacked and killed by suspected robbers in his East Legon residence in Accra.
Christopher, who was physically challenged, tragically lost his life during the attack and reportedly did not resist the assailants. Following the fatal incident, the assailants also ransacked Christopher’s home.
The late Professor Adu Boahen was a renowned historian and played a significant role in Ghanaian politics. He was the NPP’s presidential candidate in the 1992 elections, marking Ghana’s return to democracy under the Fourth Republic. The loss of his son, Christopher, is a devastating blow to the family and the wider NPP community.
