The adopted daughter of the late veteran Nigerian actor, Mr. Ibu, Jasmine Okafor, is facing criticism from netizens after allegations surfaced that she changed the actor’s TikTok account, which had 1.1 million followers, to her name.
Following reports of Mr. Ibu’s demise due to suffering a cardiac arrest related to elevated blood pressure since his surgery, Ghpage.com reported on the actor’s passing.
In a recent Instagram post by controversial Nigerian blogger Tosin Silverdam, Jasmine was accused of personalizing the late actor’s TikTok account. Tosin questioned the swift action and raised suspicions about whether Jasmine was aware of Mr. Ibu’s death before it was officially announced.
Comparing Jasmine Okafor’s personal TikTok account, which has over 1 million followers, Tosin questioned her reasons for claiming the actor’s only page and deleting all his videos.
It is important to note that Mr. Ibu’s adopted daughter had opened the account for the actor some years ago and managed it on his behalf.
