Yandey Joof, who is accused of being the girlfriend of the late Bennette Agyekum Adomah, the owner of Kikibee’s Restaurant and Lounge, has been granted bail of GHC 2,000 by the Madina District Court, presided over by Susana Nyakotey.
Joof is facing charges related to the alleged murder of Adomah, her supposed boyfriend and the Kikibees boss.
Mr Muniru Kassim, the legal representative for Joof, asserted that she played no role in Mr Adomah’s death. He expressed confidence that the truth would be revealed in due course.
According to a reportsv, an autopsy conducted by the Crime Unit of the Ghana Police Service revealed that Adomah’s cause of death was excessive alcohol consumption and severe falling.
The autopsy clarified that the late CEO did not die through any malicious means, contrary to earlier widespread reports, though investigations are still ongoing.
