A recent graduate recounted his success story of starting a fish farming business with only 100 fish.
Shodiya Olalekan, a Nigerian graduate, started his job in fish farming shortly after graduating from Auchi Federal Polytechnic in Edo state.
During an interview, he spoke about his poor beginnings and how his perseverance has catapulted him to success.
As he puts it:
“After completing my HND at the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, I officially entered the fish farming industry.” I am a qualified catfish farmer that is enthusiastic about educating others about lucrative catfish farming.
I am also a graphics designer, a fish farming content developer, and a food trader. Sholeks Farms began with 100 post fingerlings in a single 1000-litre plastic fish pond and has since grown to a 10,000-capacity fish farm.”
