The Ghana Education Service (GHS) has officially released the Senior High School (SHS) placements for Junior High School (JHS) students who took the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). This information became available on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
To check their respective placements, parents, students, teachers, and the general public can access the Computerised School Selection Placement System (CSSPS) portal.
Out of the total of 598,839 results received from the West African Examination Council (WAEC), 585,797 candidates successfully qualified for placement.
A significant percentage, specifically 81.56%, comprising 477,772 candidates, have been automatically placed in one of their selected choices.
To access the placement platform, individuals need to follow these steps:
- Obtain a placement pin code from an approved vendor.
- Visit the site www.cssps.gov.gh.
- Enter the ten-digit index number and append 23 as the year of completion (e.g., 123456789023).
- Input the pin code details, including the serial number and pin.
- Click on submit and await the placement details.
- Print the enrolment form, placement slip, and prospectus.
