Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy (Rtd), the former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, has passed away, as announced by the Church in an official statement signed by Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, the General Secretary of the CoP.

The statement expressed deep sorrow, informing the public of the peaceful passing of Apostle Dr. Ntumy in the early hours of December 27, 2023. Apostle Obuobi highlighted that Apostle Dr. Ntumy was not only a highly respected man of God but also an inspirational leader.

Describing his commitment to God as unparalleled, the statement acknowledged his significant contributions to the church and the community. Apostle Dr. Ntumy’s impact was characterized as leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of interacting with him. Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy, born on September 22, 1958, and passing away on December 27, 2023, was a Ghanaian Pentecostal televangelist, an Apostle, and served as the fourth Chairman of the CoP from 1998 to 2008.
