Five individuals have been apprehended in connection with the murder of Ghanaian entrepreneur Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Cosy Hills Hotel, also known as Jirapa Dubai, located in the Upper West region of Ghana.
Mr. Eric Johnson was fatally stabbed last Saturday by unidentified assailants and was subsequently discovered by police lying in a pool of blood.
The Ghana Police Service released a statement on Sunday confirming the commencement of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Johnson’s death.
They revealed that the deceased was found on February 11, 2024, in one of the hotel rooms. One suspect, identified as Kumbata Kwaku, an employee of Cosy Hills Hotel, was detained to assist with the investigation.
Further developments emerged on Monday, February 11th, as the Ghana Police Service announced the arrest of four additional suspects in connection with the murder. The suspects, named as Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, and Michael Klugey, are all employees of Cosy Hills Hotel. They are currently in police custody, aiding the ongoing investigation.
