Baba Rahman collapses in Greek Cup game; rushed to hospital

Abdul-Baba Rahman, the Ghanaian defender, suffered a frightening moment during PAOK FC’s match against Panathinaikos in the Greek cup on Wednesday evening.

In the 115th minute of the game, during extra time following a 2-2 draw, Rahman collided with an opponent and lost consciousness.

The medical team acted swiftly to resuscitate him and subsequently rushed him to the hospital for further evaluation.

Baba Rahman has been a crucial player for PAOK FC since joining the Greek side last summer on a permanent basis from Chelsea. In the ongoing season, he has contributed 3 goals and 2 assists in 18 league games.
