Award-winning Ghanaian reggae dancehall artist, Livinstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has revealed his Nigerian heritage, choosing it over the Volta Region.
Stonebwoy made this disclosure during a conversation with Ola of Lagos, a prominent Nigerian cars influencer.
He asserted that his Ewe tribe originates from the Oyo Kingdom in Nigeria, emphasizing that they migrated from Nigeria to Ghana, specifically settling in Illesha.
In his own words, Stonebwoy stated, “Me sef nah Niger, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria, check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba.”
