Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame has said having his wife on his management team has influenced him.According to the “Where So” singer, having his beautiful wife Annica has influenced him in both business and marriage.
Okyeame Kwame, during an appearance on Showtym with Andy Dosty on Adom TV, explained why he thinks having his wife in management has influenced his career;
“It affected us. It affects both the marital and entrepreneurial fronts. Back when we had an office in Awudome, whenever I say something that displeases her during a business meeting, when we get home and I try to hold her, she frowns and says “so you know you would like to touch her”.
Have you and I been hard on me at work?’ and I say ma’am, isn’t there separation of powers? Haven’t you been to S.H.S?…and she says, “If you need a home for me, be nice to me at work.”Okyeame Kwame further explained that although Annica found it difficult to deal with the dynamics of work and marriage, Annica brought many new ideas to build her career when she graduated with a Masters in Branding and Marketing.
“When I won Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards, my wife had done a Masters in Branding and Marketing at KNUST and brought new ideas.
“I was the one who had the plan, but today, after she gave birth to our first and second children, it was all about her children.
