In a viral video, a Ghanaian guy in the United States is heard pleading for help from a fellow Ghanaian woman over there.
He claims to have been in the United States for three decades but has lost all of his property.
He claimed that he previously served in the United States Army, but his brother, who was meant to receive his earnings on his behalf, did not give him any of the money and also rented out the apartment where he was supposed to live.
The Ghanaian woman who engaged him in the video handed him $15 and pledged to raise donations for him online.
Meanwhile, several Instagram users who know him from abroad claim he is a drug addict who has repeatedly refused to assist with rehabilitation.
