Reports indicate that Wigwe, along with members of his immediate family, was involved in a helicopter crash late Friday in California, USA. The ill-fated Eurocopter EC130 helicopter was carrying Wigwe, his wife, son, and three other passengers.

The crash occurred around 10:00 pm local time near Nipton, California, according to the US Federal Aviation Administration. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department was alerted to the incident at 10:12 pm local time.
