After captivating Ghanaians with a memorable experience in 2022, Global Citizen is set to return in 2024 with a new initiative called “Move Afrika: A Global Citizen Experience Tour.”

The international advocacy organization announced that the event will be hosted in Accra, Ghana, and Kigali, Rwanda.

President Nana Akufo-Addo and PGLang, an American creative imprint, are collaborators of Move Afrika 2024.

The initiative aims to drive economic investment in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, support Ghanaian-owned businesses, and empower young entrepreneurs.

The inaugural Move Afrika event took place in Kigali, Rwanda, in December 2023, marking the launch of an annual, multi-country tour.

This tour seeks to change the landscape of live entertainment in Africa while making investments in local economies, skill training, and youth entrepreneurship.
