Failatu: Ghanaian woman gets approval from GWR to attempt Cook-A-Thon

Beautiful Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul Razak has stepped up to put Ghana on the map, as she attempts the Guinness World Record, Longest Cooking Marathon.

Young Ghanaian chef who hails from Tamale, the Northern part of Ghana, has decided to challenge the odds by attempting the prestious Longest Cooking Marathon which is currently broken by Alan Fisher, an Irish shef.

Alan Fisher is currently holding on to the title with 119 hours 57 minutes. According to Failatu Abdul Razak, she is set to break the record with 120 hours but also, she has got a surprise for Ghanaians.

In an interview with Blacc Tbwoy of Lawrence Postings Media, Failatu, The CEO of Micky’s Inn shared that she was inspired by her mum due to how she hailed her amongst others.

Failatu and her team are well prepared and her Cook-A-Thon event will happen on 1st January to 5th January. The venue is Modern City Hotel which is situated in Tamale.

Failatu plans to prove to the world that Ghana has got capable people who can do whatever it others are also capable of. For her, she is changing the narrative through cooking.
