During an exclusive interview on OKAY FM with Ola Michael, Moesha’s brother revealed distressing news about her health condition.
He disclosed that Moesha is currently suffering from a severe stroke, which has left her right side paralyzed and impaired her speech.
The revelation comes after an incident a few weeks ago when Moesha collapsed while spending time with friends at a guest house in Amasaman.
Following a meal of kenkey and fish, she vomited and experienced a stroke, causing her to fall and hit her head on a hard surface.
In response to the emergency, Moesha’s brother initiated a fundraising campaign, and the GoFundMe page he created has garnered approximately $6,000 in donations. However, until now, the full extent of Moesha’s illness had not been disclosed to the public.
Prior to the stroke, Moesha had stopped taking her hypertension medication. After the incident, she was rushed to a local hospital, where it was discovered that she was bleeding in her brain. Subsequently, she was transferred to Legon for surgery after a CT scan confirmed the bleeding.
Following her surgery, Moesha has been discharged from the hospital and is currently recovering at home, according to her brother. The news has sparked concern among fans and well-wishers, who continue to offer support and prayers for her recovery.
