Mr. Drew has completed his financial commitment for his contribution to the song ‘Case,’ according to Kuami Eugene.

The ‘Rockstar’ said that he wrote roughly 80% of Mr. Drew’s song, ‘Case,’ but the latter refused to acknowledge or pay him for his contribution.

However, in a fresh interview with DJ Slim on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, he stated that Mr Drew has contacted him and gave him his due.

“He didn’t fully understand what he was doing.” He had no idea that putting music on the internet without the permission of the composer was prohibited. So I won’t hold it against him. He’s a brother, and I’m delighted he found out and called me straight away.

“He’s given me my cut,” he noted.

Kuami Eugene said a few weeks ago that he wrote the hook and sections of the second verse of the song.

“I wrote the entire hook as well as some of the second verse.” I wrote about 80% of that tune. In fact, before he arrived to record the song, he listened to it and sung it,” Kuami Eugene said in a TikTok Live interview with vlogger Naana Donkor Arthur.

He said he writes songs for other artistes because he cannot sing all the songs he produces, especially when he notices a particular song fits the style of another artiste.
