The WASSCE results of Tyrone Marhguy, the Rastafarian student whose admission to Achimota School sparked controversy in 2021, have been uncovered, and the scores are impressive.
Initially denied admission to Achimota School due to his dreadlocks, the case attracted widespread attention and culminated in a final judgment directing the school to admit him and another Rastafarian student, Oheneba Nkrabea.
Tyrone Marhguy, part of Achimota Senior High School’s 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz team, has now achieved exceptional success in the WASSCE examination, securing A1 grades in all subjects.
This outcome has ignited discussions on social media, illustrating how the once-rejected student has transformed into a cornerstone of significance.
