British national Modou Adams, who gained notoriety on TikTok for his opulent lifestyle, was found trying to smuggle cocaine into the UK and was given a six-year, eight-month prison sentence in Peru.
After his suitcase was stopped and searched, approximately 2.9 kg of cocaine worth £300,000 was discovered hidden inside, leading to the 25-year-old’s arrest at Jorge Chavez International Airport on September 30.
Modou Adams pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison and a £1,500 fine.
