Some young people in Nigeria’s Benin State have taken to the streets to protest the presence of popular transgender activist Bob Risky.
The irate protesters were seen welding placards with inscriptions condemning homosexuality in their state.
According to the protesters’ chants, people like Bob Risky are not welcome in Benin state, so they demand his immediate departure.
The outraged youth also labeled the popular transgender person as a negative influence in the country.
According to reports, the popular Nigerian cross-dresser has fled the state in the aftermath of the protest.
