Rema, the Afrobeats musician, has finally reacted to the rumors that he has joined the Illuminati.
Rema denied any affiliation with any secret society in a Wednesday post on his official Instagram story.
Rema urged his Ravers, or day one lovers, to tell his new fans about his roots and pedigree in reaction to the Illuminati conspiracy theories.
While denying that his success is due to supernatural influences, the musician referred to the Illuminati as “diabolical shit” and declared that “Jesus is the king.”
“Day one,” he said. Ravers, please assist me in informing new Ravers that I have been on this bat shit for a long time. You’d have so much more clarity if you could readily Google where I’m from, what the key colours of my ancestry are, what flies in Benin’s skies every evening, and so on.
Rema’s clarification comes after he offered a preview of his upcoming “Ravage” EP, which is due to be released on Friday, October 27.
